Well,I've not posted anything for almost 2 months for one reason or another but I'm back to bore you to death again.
I've not even been up to the plot for almost a month so decided to pull my finger out and get up there today.
Like most of the country we're under a good covering of snow too.
I know I still have half a row of Beetroot,Turnips and some of those mini Carrots growing under all the snow so what they'll be like when it thaws is anyones guess.
Took refuge in the polytunnel and dug over all the beds and had a general clean up.
Finally I gave the whole place a good soaking with Armillatox which will kill any remaining bacteria,diseases mould spores,algae and lingering Botrytis.
Basically this stuff will kill anything hence the big "X" on the label.
So hopefully next year I can start off with a pretty sterilized tunnel.
Back at the ranch I decided to cut the top and bottom off an old oil drum to make a Giant Parsnip growing container out of.
Pretty lethal combination of an Idiot and an angle grinder nearly resulted in the loss of a digit but not quite.
